WASATCH QUARTER MIDGETS NEED YOUR HELP

Well the bill has come due for our Insurance policy and we are looking for your help.

As you can see on the www.wasatchqm.com website Neil has put in alot of work to the track and we will be ready for a full season next year. It was necessary to have this Insurance policy in place before the state would allow the work to begin. Like I have said in the past over 99% of getting this club together has been done with less than a handful of people.

We have alot of interest in the club and it sounds as if it will be a succesful one if we can get a little bit more than just vocal support for what we are doing.

Any and all donations would be helpful and will go directly to the cost of the insurance. If you plan on fielding a car next year please contact me so that we can get together a solid contact list and possibly pay your annual dues for next year early to help us out.

Also for anyone that pays there dues within the next week or two will get free entry for the family for one regular scheduled event.

Well we have successfully pulled off our first official meeting. I would first like to thank all of those in attendance and for all of the input to make this an outstanding club. The minutes are posted below and as you can see there is still a lot that needs to be accomplished but I have faith in our group that we will pull together and get it done. We are still looking for some volunteers to step up and fill some badly needed positions as we move forward.

Treasurer- Needed to begin keeping books on club expenses as our Non-profit paperwork gets closer to completion.

Tech Director- Needed to assist with finalizing the rule book related to the cars and classes.

Safety Director- Needed to assist with finalizing the rule book related to driving and penalties and also assist with track development.

I would like to have these positions filled as soon as possible so that we can have another meeting and hopefully finalize a track design and rulebook. I would also like to arrange to meet with some individuals that have dirt track racing experience to meet at the track location to evaluate the grounds so we know what we are working with and what our needs will be.
